The Lake Minear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is the preservation and restoration of Lake Minear and the surrounding land while educating the community about the native species that it supports. 

We work closely with Lake Minear Beach in the furtherance of this mission. Please support us with a tax-deductible donation here and/or by becoming a member of the beach - it all helps to keep this Lake County treasure healthy!

However, there are some things that the operating income of the beach (membership fees) simply can't cover. For example, reinforcing the shoreline against erosion, or installing new, native tree species where invasive plants have been removed.
