The funds we raise support the following activities in and around Lake Minear:

• Removal of Invasive plant species, such as Buckthorn

• Protecting the shoreline from erosion (developing long term plan)

• Establishing responsible use opportunities for currently leased land, such as an educational nature trail

• Planting native plants and species that are attractive to pollinators such as birds, bees, and butterflies

• Awareness campaigns, such as signs and sessions with local students or other interest groups

New for 2025
