The Lake Minear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is the preservation and restoration of Lake Minear and the surrounding land while educating the community about the native species that it supports. 

We work closely with Lake Minear Beach in the furtherance of this mission. However, there are some things that the operating income of the beach (membership fees) simply can't cover. For example, reinforcing the shoreline against erosion, or installing new, native-species trees where invasive plants have been removed.
